Sam Allain

Sam holds both a Bachelor of Exercise Science and Masters in Physiotherapy. Using this knowledge, he is able to treat people from the acute injury phase all the way through to late stage rehabilitation and return to sport and activity.

His primary focus is providing high value care for patients, integrating contemporary research into clinical practice to deliver a patient specific and holistic approach to rehabilitation. Sam has a particular interest in applying the latest research in pain science and bio-mechanics to help those with acute or persistent pain, particularly in the lower back, neck and shoulder.

As a keen basketballer and runner himself, Sam also enjoys treating lower limb and tendon injuries to the knee, ankle and calf.

With experience in Pilates based rehab and working with the Tweed Heads Seagulls Rugby League Team, Sam is able to prescribe rehabilitation programs for patients to assist with the recovery of strength, stability and confidence in movement.

Outside of work you will find Sam playing basketball, tennis or training for his upcoming triathlon.
